Baby Care Professionals

Testimonials

Sadie Bo

Rosalee and her team are simply incredible. From the first night, I felt completely at ease in their care. They provided the most precious gift of rest as we recovered and adjusted to parenthood and gave our son gentle and loving care. I believe they truly understand the delicacy of this time and the vulnerability of having someone care for your child in your home while you sleep. They never once told us what to do but rather offered simple suggestions and helpful hints that allowed for big changes to happen. Only supportive, productive, and holistic care was offered to our family. They have also done an amazing job of getting our young son on a good sleeping track and given us the tools to keep it going. I can't say enough good things about Mother's Helping Hands and the wonderful ladies who helped us.

Diana Luskin Margolis

We had Rosalee a few days a week on a weekly basis for the first month that our son was born and we are so happy we did! She was extremely warm, trustworthy, comforting, and came with many helpful tips and tricks for new parents! As soon as she got to our house, he went happily into her arms and never fussed and was smiling when we woke up which was so comforting. I did not breastfeed and she was non-judgmental. I was able to get full nights of sleep knowing that my son was well taken care of. There were a few times after our month was over with her that we still needed help and Rosalee wasn't available so she sent members of her staff and we felt very comfortable with them as well and liked them so much that we hired one of them to come back and help again as I transition back to full-time work in a few weeks. We will definitely use Mothers Helping Hands with our next kid!

Kimberly Kilpatrick Anderson

I am not sure what we would have done without Rosalee! She was invaluable the first weeks of our son's life. Rosalee not only helped put these first-time parents at ease but she also helped put our little guy on a schedule (and sleep through the night by 7 weeks)! Hiring Rosalee was the best decision we made to prepare for our son's arrival and I cannot wait to use her in the future.

Alisa Baum Alloy

The ladies at MHH are amazing! We used them when my son was born and will definitely use them again! The advice they offered was super helpful. In addition, Rosalee Henry and her staff are very pleasant and so much fun to be around! I instantly bonded with the ladies. I can't say enough good things about Mothers Helping Hands!

I remember the newborn days fondly and it is because of Rosalee. Rosalee is very caring, has a wealth of information, and is very reassuring to have around. She allowed me to enjoy and treasure those precious first months with our second baby. Best decision we made this time around! I wish we had Rosalee help with our first baby too.

Dorothy Peterson Vollmer

Rosalee helped us with our newborn (our first child) as a night nurse, as a postpartum doula, and as a mother's helper while I was recovering from foot surgery. I found her presence calming and reassuring and she was willing to help with so much more than baby-related things. She was great with Lucy and we would have her back in a heartbeat.

Alison Gordon

We were referred to Mothers Helping Hands by our trusted Doula to help us as new parents the first few weeks home from the hospital. Rosalee and Barbara were very knowledgeable, caring, supportive and professional. We would not hesitate to refer the service to anyone.

Jamie Shepherd

Rosalee was fantastic with our triplets. She got them on a schedule and helped us survive the first few months. I would highly recommend Mothers Helping hands, especially with preemies and multiples.

Natalie Rogovin

As a mother of 2 and a high school teacher I have lots of experience with youth, and Rosalee is right on board with what it takes to raise a happy, healthy and fully integrated child. She is an excellent listener with very sage advice. Highly recommend!

Katy Stokes

Amazing - Barbara is knowledgable, kind, and thoroughly experienced; she was a joy to have in our home. Rosalee is wonderful and provides exceptional client service.

Natasha Echols worked for our family three days a week from late May 2007 through December 2007. When she began her employment with us, our daughter, Elyse, was four months old. Tasha’s responsibilities were caring for Elyse, including feeding, changing, bathing and entertaining her. Beyond this, Tasha took Elyse to playdates with a nearby Nanny and to The Music Class on a weekly basis. They were free to go on walks or out in the car for errands or other adventures. Tasha kept Elyse’s room tidy and clean and also did her laundry. I would always find that Tasha did extra things for me around the house, which were greatly appreciated, such as emptying and loading the dishwasher.

Rachel G.

After we started working with Ms. Echols, it was immediately apparent that she is very conscientious about her work. She is methodical, thorough, always on time (or early), communicates consistently regarding where and when she is taking the baby away from the house and always mentions any changes in the baby’s eating/sleeping/eliminating patterns or rashes, etc. But one of the most important factors to us is that she is also very kind and loving with the baby. Our daughter adores Ms. Echols. She looks forward to seeing her each morning and misses her on the weekends. As a first time mom, I found her loving caring nature very soothing and comforting. I was also relieved that she is able to show love without impinging on my roll as the mother. I never felt like she was trying to replace me in the eyes of my baby. I know that my transition back to work would not have been as smooth if we had not hired Ms. Echols to care for our baby.

Natasha embodies all of the qualities that one would look for in a nanny. She is warm and gentle and very attentive to my children. I never worry when they are in her care. I have left them with her several times for a week at a time and have gone on trips outside the country knowing that they were completely safe in her care. She has a serene and positive outlook on life, and my children love her. She also loves babies and was incredibly helpful when my youngest was born giving him his very first bath and spending lots of time holding and playing with him. Also she is extremely poised and can handle emergencies with decisive and appropriate actions.

Elaine R.

I am a single mother of twins and Rosalee was a tremendous help. She is compassionate, wonderful with my babies, punctual with a willingness to help new moms make it through the night. Being able to completely trust Rosalee allowed me to rest. I am so grateful for Rosalee’s assistance. I have recommended Rosalee numerous times and I know that she loves babies.

Rita W.

Rosalee was very kind very professional and took very good care of our daughter. She was reliable and we really enjoyed having her help. We only wish we could have had her stay longer.

Alison L.

Rosalee has been with our family since the birth of our daughter. She came highly recommended to us as a Baby Night Nurse. She was an extremely valuable coach for us, helping us understand what we needed to do to get everything prepared and the importance of establishing a routine with the baby. She is very knowledgeable, reliable, possesses good judgment, and truly enjoys what she does. She helped with sleep training, feeding, and provided us with peace of mind. Having Rosalee’s help allowed me and my husband to get some rest and focus on bonding and enjoying time with our baby. Rosalee was instrumental in getting our daughter on a feeding and sleeping schedule from the start, and as a result, our daughter slept through the night at 9 weeks and has been a great sleeper ever since. Our daughter is almost 5, and we still use Rosalee’s services whenever we need some help. My husband and I have full confidence in Rosalee and would recommend her services to anyone.

Lisa D.

Rosalee has been a caregiver in our home for months. We have two sons. One two-year-old and a nine-week-old. We have had several caregivers, but none compared to Rosalee. Our two year old immediately bonded to her. Since then we have come to count on her expertise, judgement, and skill in caring for babies. Rosalee has cared for our children under a number of circumstances including us working from home, while we've been away from home, and has been an incredible resource with her night nurse services for our infant son. She is one of the most conscientious and astute caregivers we know. Any family would be lucky to have her.

Elizabeth T.

Rosalee was our night nurse and was instrumental in getting our daughter on a sleep schedule, as well as helping me with learning to properly breastfeed without pain. She was a great help.

Lesley B.

Rosalee worked for us for three months. She assisted in caring for our 1 month old twins and 22 month old toddler She was reliable, exhibited good judgement and really enjoyed her work.

Kelli W.

Natasha is very dependable, very thoughtful, very thorough, and very kind. My children light up when she arrives in the morning, and I am comforted during the work day knowing that they are in her care. She is very even-tempered and patient. She carries with her much experience with children, both her own and others that she has been the nanny for and understands the nuances and challenges of each developmental stage. She has been a source of some much-valued advice, and has helped us through potty training and the integration of a baby into my daughter’s life. I am heartbroken that we will be moving out of the Atlanta area and will have to find other child care in Austin, Texas, as I am sure that we will be unable to find any that compares.

Lesa R.

Rosalee was an angel sent from HEAVEN to my family after my 2nd child was born. My son had just started Kindergarten and I was suffering terribly with Postpartum Depression. I couldn’t sleep or eat. I was full of anxiety. When you are suffering from Postpartum, it is so difficult just to put your own feet on the floor each day. Rosalee gave me the peace of mind that, at night, my Sara Jane was being taken care of and that she was being fed, changed, loved and started on a schedule. While Rosalee was doing that, I was able to get the sleep I needed to get myself healthy for my husband, and children! I will be forever grateful to Rosalee for the encouraging words of wisdom and hope she gave me during a time when I was so scared and lonely. Sara Jane is a happy, healthy girl today and so is her mommy! Thank you, ROSALEE!!!

Catherine D.

Thank you so much for all your help the last few weeks. I don’t know what we would have done without you.

Jill W.

My husband and I liked and felt comfortable with Rosalee from the moment we met her. Her approach to night care for our little ones was a very good fit with our needs and expectations.

Hila R.

Rosalee is a combination mom, sister and best friend. She offers you the right combination of common sense advice, compassion, and frankness. When I needed help getting my 3 month old daughter to take naps she pointed out I should not worry since she was sleeping throughout the night and gave me advice on how to help her sleep during the day. When my daughter decided she wanted to wake up in the middle of the night, Rosalee gave me the right pointers to where she is again sleeping 8 to 10 hours. I will definitely call her when I need additional help as my daughter continues to grow.

B. G.

Porshia was our night nurse for three months. She has proven herself to be a very competent, dependable and hard working individual. She displays a high level of professionalism and makes herself available when necessary.

K. P.

Porshia is compassionate and was very good with our children. As a result, I have no hesitation in recommending her as a night nurse to other families as ours. Kindly extend your usual courtesy.

A. H.

Porshia has been our night nurse for the pass six weeks. She is a very knowledgeable, caring and dependable individual. She displays a genuine love for our children and as a result has earned our trust to care for others.

Edna M.

Porshia is an amazing talent. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about all things baby. She was great at taking care of our infant daughter and providing us with invaluable information about caring for her when we were on our own.

Lisa J.

Porshia was great to have in our home to help with our son. She was there to provide the care that we wanted and allowed us to not only get some much needed rest to deal with the next day, but also in helping me out with concerns that I had since this was our first child. Thank you so much for your help once again.

Catherine A.

Thank you Mother’s Helping Hands Atlanta for all of the support after the birth of our third child. Rosalee, Pat, and Stephanie were wonderful! Everything you did for us really eased our transition into a family of five.

For anyone curious about the postpartum services, it was amazing. Rosalee and the others on her team fit right into our family right away. Their care is non judgmental, supportive, and warm. Rosalee and her team are so knowledgeable about babies and older children as well. They helped me keep my life organized and manageable for 5 weeks with helping my baby to sleep, giving me time to rest, making sure my older two children were well cared for, and making sure that I was cared for as well. They helped us with light cleaning, laundry, light meal prep, etc, so I could focus on caring for myself and my children. They were very intuitive and just jumped right in without needing direction, which was exactly what I needed. My husband even left for two weeks for work when our baby was only three weeks old and Rosalee made sure that we were all very well supported.

Next time my spouse travels for long periods for work or we add to our family again, we will definitely be asking Mother’s Helping Hands Atlanta to join us again. Thank you for everything!!

My wife and I are six weeks into new parenthood and cannot say enough good things about Mother’s Helping Hands Atlanta. We first had another night nurse that wanted to take over the house. This team has been a great fit and gets it – a good night nurse needs to take care of the baby but provide real help to the mothers. They have incredible knowledge about newborns, will give you their opinion without being pushy or inflexible, are proactive about helping and suggesting improvements and have nothing but the utmost respect for your family and home. We have completely enjoyed having their support and the proof is a happy infant on a good schedule.

Courtney E.

Mothers Helping hands Atlanta took over from the first night nurse service that we had and they were amazing. I wish we had them every night.

Rosalee, of Mothers Helping Hands Atlanta L.L.C., has been an irreplaceable member of our family for the past few weeks. As a first time mom, I was unaware of how exhausting having a newborn could be! Rosalee takes initiative when she is in our home – helping to prepare meals for my husband and stepson (10), doing light laundry, cleaning bottles and most of all taking extraordinary care of my baby girl who she treats and handles as if she were her own. Whenever she sets foot in our doorway, I can breathe a sigh of relief because I know someone is here to take care of all the little things (especially me)! At a time when all of your energy goes into your new baby, how wonderful to have someone care for you! Her guidance, baby know-how, kind spirit and strong work ethic have made such a difference in my life as a new mother. She gave me time to help find my feet. If you're considering a post-partum doula, this is really a no brainier. You'll be thanking your lucky stars that you found her.
