Rosalee Henry is a Certified Perinatal Patient Navigator, Newborn Care Educator, and Postpartum Doula with over 20 years of experience supporting mothers and families through every stage of early parenthood. As the founder of Mothers Helping Hands Atlanta LLC, she empowers community health workers and delivers personalized postpartum care that meets families where they are—both emotionally and practically.
Her journey began in 2002 as a nanny, where she quickly recognized a need for specialized newborn care. This early experience sparked a passion for maternal health that would define her career. In 2010, she became a Certified Postpartum Doula through C.A.P.P.A, and just two years later, launched her own agency. What started as a solo operation grew rapidly—within two years, Rosalee built a thriving business with over 20 employees.
With hands-on experience caring for more than 200 babies, including multiples, Rosalee has served families across diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, both domestically and abroad. She also partners with corporations to guide employees through maternity and paternity leave transitions, helping them return to work with confidence and clarity.
Rosalee is a sought-after speaker and educator, regularly sharing her expertise at women’s health seminars, community events, and private consultations. Her commitment to holistic care deepened after caring for her mother through a cancer diagnosis—a profoundly personal experience that reshaped her understanding of recovery and support. Motivated by this journey, she expanded her agency to include Mothers Helping Hands Homecare, offering personalized concierge services for women recovering from surgeries and medical procedures. This extension of her mission ensures that all women—not just new mothers—receive the compassionate, post-operative care they deserve.
Beyond hands-on care, Rosalee is a mentor and advocate, coaching other professionals in the maternal health space on how to grow sustainable, mission-driven businesses while retaining skilled, compassionate workers. Her work contributes directly to lowering maternal mortality rates by building better systems of care and support.
Rosalee is a graduate of the Perinatal Patient Navigator Program at Morehouse School of Medicine. Her accomplishments include receiving a 7-Figure Entrepreneurial Award and being named twice as one of Atlanta’s 50 Most Powerful Women.
Through her agency, corporate partnerships, and coaching programs, Rosalee remains steadfast in her mission: to improve maternal health outcomes and ensure that women feel supported, seen, and empowered during some of the most vulnerable times in their lives.
