Rosalee Henry is a passionate advocate for maternal and community health, a certified Perinatal Patient Navigator, and a successful business coach. With a deep-rooted commitment to transforming the lives of community health workers, she leverages her unique expertise to empower and uplift those dedicated to serving underserved communities. As the founder of Mothers Helping Hands Atlanta LLC, Rosalee is a renowned Newborn Care Educator and Postpartum Doula with over two decades of experience. Her journey began in banking, but her passion for childcare led her to become a nanny in 2002. Recognizing a gap in specialized newborn care, she transitioned her skills to meet this need. In 2010, she expanded her expertise by training with the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (C.A.P.P.A.) to become a certified postpartum doula, a role dedicated to supporting families through the critical post-birth period.

Rosalee’s career took a significant turn when she founded her agency in 2012. Starting as a one-woman operation, her unwavering dedication quickly grew the business to over 20 employees in under two years. This rapid expansion is a testament to her exceptional skills and the high demand for her specialized services. Her unique approach blends in-depth knowledge with genuine empathy, creating personalized care plans that cater to the specific needs of each family. She has cared for over 200 babies, including singles, twins, and triplets, both domestically and internationally, adapting her approach to suit diverse family structures and needs.

In her current role, Rosalee has taken her expertise to the corporate world, guiding employees through maternity and paternity leave planning. She focuses on ensuring a smooth transition back to work, acknowledging the challenges new parents face. Her sessions at Women’s Health Seminars and moms’ meet-up groups, along with one-on-one consultations, have made her a sought-after speaker and advisor in the field of postpartum and newborn care. But Rosalee’s mission doesn’t stop there. She is also dedicated to coaching others in the maternal and community health industry to grow and scale their businesses. By helping these professionals achieve sustainable careers, she not only enhances their income but also ensures they remain passionate about their work. This dedication directly contributes to reducing maternal mortality rates by retaining skilled and motivated health workers in the field.

Rosalee’s recent achievements include graduating from Morehouse School of Medicine’s Perinatal Patient Navigator Program, speaking at various national and  international forums, and receiving a prestigious 7-figure award. She has been featured in multiple magazines and honored as one of the 50 most powerful women in Atlanta. Her mission is to reduce maternal mortality rates and improve healthcare outcomes by training and supporting community health workers. She aims to collaborate with others in the maternal health industry to secure sponsorship and grants, enabling them to extend their reach and impact.
